Q: How can I get a free rockchip repair?

A: In most cases, your insurance provider will pay the full cost of the repair rather than the cost of replacing the windshield. This will not affect your premium.

Q: How do I know if my windshield can be repaired?

A: If the chip is smaller than a quarter it can generally be repaired.

Q: Does it take long to repair a rockchip?

A: It usually only takes 10-15 minutes to do a rockchip repair.

Q: Why is it important that my windshield be replaced properly?

A: Your windshield is actually part of the structural support of your vehicle. In a rollover your windshield can absorb up to 60% of the impact and in a front end collision it can absorb up to 40%. We only use OEM parts and adhesives to ensure that the replacement is done properly and your safety is not compromised.

Q: Can you come to my house or work to replace/repair autoglass?

A: Yes, we offer mobile installation at no extra charge.

Q: What is the difference between a framed or frameless shower enclosure?

A: A framed shower enclosure has metal framework around each individual piece of glass and uses 1/8 inch glass instead of 3/8 or 1/2 inch glass. A frameless shower enclosure utilizes a few clips to secure the 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch glass instead of a metal framework. This puts the emphasis on the glass and interior of the shower rather than the bulky framework of a normal unit. The thicker glass gives the enclosure a much more elegant look and allows the door to operate much smoother than a standard enclosure.

Q: Does clear UV tint really make a difference?

A: Yes, clear UV tint can block up to 99% of the suns ultra violet rays. This protects your furniture, floors, paintings, etc. from becoming faded and worn looking.

Q: Will clear UV tint change the look of my windows?

A: No, it is completely clear and undetectable to casual inspection.

Q: Why do my double pane windows have condensation built up inside them?

A: Double pane windows are two pieces of glass with a 1/4 to 3/4 inch spacer between them. A vacuum is pulled on them so there is no air or moisture inside them, and then they are sealed. If this seal becomes broken the air and moisture that gets inside them will cause them to condensate and give them an unsightly “milky” look.

Q: If my double pane windows are fogged or broken do I have to replace the entire window frame?

A: No, we can just replace the glass panes that are affected without having to damage or remove sheetrock or brick. The typical replacement lasts 30-45 minutes and is easily done without affecting the window frame.
